Defendant Information

District Attorney - The District Attorney represents the people of the State of Colorado in all state criminal actions brought within the Nineteenth Judicial District, which coincides with the boundaries of Weld County. The office prosecutes both felony and misdemeanor charges and is composed of several divisions to meet the needs of the public.

District Attorney Victim Services - The professionals assigned to the Victim Witness Assistance Unit make every effort to assist crime victims in recovering for the physical, emotional, and financial impact of a crime.

Justice Services - Through personnel oversight, budget and accounting, the Department develops and manages criminal justice system functions including Pretrial Services and various Community Correctional programs.
